Job summary

Standard Chartered in the UAE seeks an experienced Sales and Relationship Manager to onboard Priority Private clients and service a growing regional portfolio. You will develop client relationships, negotiate effectively and ensure compliance with KYC/AML and risk controls.

The ideal candidate has banking and investment product experience, strong communication and networking skills, and SCA certification (or completion within 6 months).

Qualifications

• Experience in handling banking and investment products.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to develop and manage client relationships.
• Knowledge of KYC/AML and risk controls.

Responsibilities

• Create strategic plans for revenue generation and business development.
• Generate new business to achieve targets for customers, volumes and revenue.
• Induct NTB customers from branches and Direct Sales teams.
• Develop sales call plans to acquire large prospective customers.
• Maintain Sales MIS with calls, prospects, attritions and deals.
• Meet customer expectations and minimise complaints with professional service.
• Lead by example and coordinate with risk and control partners.
• Ensure KYC/AML updates and zero-error documentation.
• Detect suspicious transactions and combat money laundering.
• Adhere to Anti Bribery, Anti Money Laundering and financial crime risk procedures.
• Obtain SCA license within 6 months and complete CPD thereafter.
