Job summary

ACCOR in Dubai is seeking a guest services associate to join the ReConnect program. You will assist with check-in, provide information on fitness classes, pool day passes, and membership offers, and handle payments for memberships.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma, fluent English, strong communication skills, and a courteous, professional demeanor. Previous fitness center experience and CPR/first aid certification are preferred, with Russian language skills a plus.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English (written & verbal) essential.
• High school diploma, vocational training and/or 1 year of work experience.
• Friendly and pleasant disposition with people-interaction skills.
• CPR and first-aid certification preferred.
• Previous fitness center experience preferred.
• Russian speaker.
• Attention to detail.
• High problem-solving ability.

Responsibilities

• Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service.
• Assist in all operations of the ReConnect membership program and have knowledge of all fitness classes and offerings.
• Assist guests with check‑in to facilities.
• Assist guests with product information and retail sales.
• Provide guests with information relating to fitness classes, pool day pass, special offers and membership offerings.
• Assist guests with payment collection for their memberships.
• Prepare agreements as per requirements.
• Brief guests about their benefits as part of their membership.
• Resolve guests’ issues and concerns.
• Follow departmental policies and procedures.
• Follow all safety and sanitation policies.
• Report any problems or questions to the ReConnect assistant manager.
• Maintain the membership database and records.
• Respond professionally to members’ enquiries and assist with requests regarding their membership.
• Consolidate monthly reporting of all membership activities.
• Report any health and safety hazards.
• Other duties as assigned.
