Job summary

Wynn Al Marjan Island is seeking a proactive Reception Manager for our Chinese Restaurant to lead the front-of-house team within the resort's luxury food & beverage operations. Qualifications

• 3–5 years of reception/front-of-house management in luxury hospitality.
• Fluent English with professional communication.
• Additional language proficiency (Arabic, Russian, French, Spanish, Japanese, Chinese or Italian) is valued.
• Experience with Forbes Travel Guide 5-Star service standards and familiarity with SevenRooms is preferred.

• Proactively manage pre-arrival guest communication, reservations, preferences, special requests and VIP arrangements.
• Review guest profiles and histories to anticipate individual needs and deliver personalized service.

• Personally recognize and manage VIP repeat and high-profile guests ensuring a seamless handover to the service team.

• Lead, coach and develop the reception team in guest engagement, conflict resolution and Forbes service standards.
• Conduct daily briefings on reservations, VIPs, special requests and service pacing.

About the Position

Wynn Al Marjan Island is currently seeking a strong Reception Manager Chinese Restaurant strong to join the resort s Food amp Beverage team

• Proactively manage pre-arrival guest communication reservations preferences special requests and VIP arrangements
• Review guest profiles and histories to anticipate individual needs and deliver personalized service
• Coordinate special occasions and VIP experiences with management culinary and service teams
• Deliver a warm polished and personalized arrival experience aligned with Wynn and Forbes Travel Guide standards
• Personally recognize and manage VIP repeat and high-profile guests ensuring a seamless handover to the service team
• Oversee reservations waitlists walk-ins and queue management through systems such as SevenRooms
• Collaborate with floor and culinary teams to optimize seating flow occupancy and guest waiting times
• Lead schedule coach and develop the reception team in guest engagement conflict resolution system proficiency and Forbes service standards
• Conduct daily briefings on reservations VIPs special requests and service pacing while reinforcing anticipatory guest-centric service
• Capture guest preferences and feedback support service recovery and post-visit follow-up and use insights to continuously improve the guest experience

About You

• At least 3-5 years of hands-on experience managing reception or front-of-house operations in a high-end restaurant luxury hotel or hospitality setting
• Demonstrated fluency in English with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with guests employees and management at all times
• Advanced proficiency in an additional language - such as Arabic Russian French Spanish Japanese Chinese or Italian - is highly valued to enhance guest interactions and support a diverse clientele
• Background in international hospitality environments or multicultural reception teams is preferred showcasing adaptability and global service standards
• Experience with Forbes Travel Guide 5-Star service standards and familiarity with SevenRooms is preferred
• Proven excellence in communication interpersonal and leadership skills essential for supervising reception employees resolving guest concerns and fostering a welcoming atmosphere
