Job summary

Wynn Al Marjan Island is seeking a Reception Manager – Greek Restaurant to lead front‑of‑house guest services for a luxury resort. You will manage pre‑arrival communications, VIP arrangements, and seating flow while coordinating with culinary and service teams to deliver Forbes Travel Guide 5‑Star service.

The role requires 3–5 years in reception or front‑of‑house in high-end hospitality, fluent English, and a willingness to work in a dynamic, multicultural environment at the Ras Al Khaimah

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of hands-on experience in reception/front-of-house in luxury hospitality.
• Fluent English communication with guests, colleagues, and management.
• Additional languages (Arabic, Russian, French, Spanish, Japanese, Chinese, or Italian) are valued.
• Experience with Forbes Travel Guide 5‑Star service standards is preferred.
• Experience leading a reception team and coordinating VIP experiences.

About Wynn Al Marjan Island: Wynn Al Marjan Island will be the first integrated resort in the UAE. Set to open in 2027, the resort will be located 50 miles from Dubai International Airport in the emirate of Ras Al Khaimah. The resort will offer 1,530 rooms and suites, 22 restaurants, lounges, and bars, a theater, and a beach club. It will feature multiple swimming and wading pools, water features, a five-star spa, a salon, a shopping promenade, and a celebrations and events center.

About The Position

Wynn Al Marjan Island is currently seeking a Reception Manager – Greek Restaurant to join the resort’s Food & Beverage team.

Responsibilities

The primary duties and responsibilities of this role are:

• Proactively manage pre-arrival guest communication, reservations, preferences, special requests, and VIP arrangements.
• Review guest profiles and histories to anticipate individual needs and deliver personalized service.
• Coordinate special occasions and VIP experiences with management, culinary, and service teams.
• Deliver a warm, polished, and personalized arrival experience aligned with Wynn and Forbes Travel Guide standards.
• Personally recognize and manage VIP, repeat, and high-profile guests, ensuring a seamless handover to the service team.
• Oversee reservations, waitlists, walk-ins, and queue management through systems such as SevenRooms.
• Collaborate with floor and culinary teams to optimize seating flow, occupancy, and guest waiting times.
• Lead, schedule, coach, and develop the reception team in guest engagement, conflict resolution, system proficiency, and Forbes service standards.
• Conduct daily briefings on reservations, VIPs, special requests, and service pacing while reinforcing anticipatory, guest-centric service.
• Capture guest preferences and feedback, support service recovery and post-visit follow-up, and use insights to continuously improve the guest experience.

About You

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

• At least 3-5 years of hands-on experience managing reception or front-of-house operations in a high-end restaurant, luxury hotel, or hospitality setting.
• Demonstrated fluency in English, with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with guests, employees, and management at all times.
• Advanced proficiency in an additional language - such as Arabic, Russian, French, Spanish, Japanese, Chinese, or Italian - is highly valued to enhance guest interactions and support a diverse clientele.
• Background in international hospitality environments or multicultural reception teams is preferred, showcasing adaptability and global service standards.
• Experience with Forbes Travel Guide 5-Star service standards and familiarity with SevenRooms is preferred.
• Proven excellence in communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, essential for supervising reception employees, resolving guest concerns, and fostering a welcoming atmosphere.
