Job summary

Wasael Property Management in Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced Asset Manager to oversee the portfolio’s financial performance and asset strategy, including budgeting, risk assessment, and capital planning. You will collaborate with Operations, IT data centre, FM services, and Finance to implement integrated asset management processes and maintain the Asset Register.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering-related field; a Master's degree with a concentration in business management, real estate, finance and/or accounting is preferred.
• Strong budgeting background with knowledge of real estate and financial concepts.
• Highly computer literate with advanced spreadsheet skills and experience with document processing apps (Excel, Power Query, Word, PowerPoint) and asset/facilities software (FSI, Archibus, Maximo) and document management tools (Aconex or similar).

Responsibilities

• Develop a master asset management plan attuned to each property.
• Effectively manage client assets according to their investment preferences.
• Administer risk analysis surveys to determine risk profiles.
• Monitor and report changes in risk profiles of assets in the portfolio.
• Create, organize, and maintain client portfolios.
• Assess clients' current asset status, future needs, and investment goals.
• Make timely recommendations for mitigating strategies and risk rating changes.
• Execute corrective measures when early warning signs exist on performance issues.
• Manage cash flow and physical assets such as property and real estate.
• Strategically advise clients on actions to take with their assets.
• Own the Asset Register and Asset Information; oversee asset register updates.
• Ensure staff comply with naming conventions and asset identification standards.
• Carry out Process Manager responsibilities for the Asset Management process.
• Maintain the Asset Register and assess risks associated with current assets.
• Collaborate with clients and senior executives; assist in budget preparation and approvals.
• Provide monthly, quarterly, and annual portfolio reporting and oversee asset programs.
