Job summary

Confidential Careers is seeking an experienced HSE Manager to lead all health, safety and environmental activities for a major railway infrastructure project in the UAE. The role requires ensuring compliance with UAE/GCC regulations, client standards and ISO 45001/14001, while promoting a Zero Harm safety culture across the project.

The successful candidate will develop the HSE management plan, lead risk assessments, incident investigations and audits, and manage subcontractor HSE performance

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science or related.
• Minimum 12–15 years of HSE experience, preferably on major infrastructure or railway projects.
• Proven experience as HSE Manager / Project HSE Manager on large-scale projects.
• Railway or Metro project experience, UAE/GCC regulatory knowledge; NEBOSH Diploma preferred; ISO 45001/14001 Lead Auditor a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the Project HSE Management Plan, policies, procedures and safety programs.
• Lead HSE activities across railway construction works including civil works, structures, earthworks, track works, stations and railway systems/interfaces.
