Job summary

Leading Infrastructure Contractor in Dubai is seeking a Quantity Surveyor – Infrastructure (Roads & Bridges) with around 5 years of UAE experience to join the commercial team. The role covers pre- and post-contract duties on a large-scale road and bridges project, with on-site/offices near the Dubai/Sharjah border.

You will assist with cost planning and BOQ, manage payments and variations, monitor budgets, and coordinate with project managers and subcontractors to ensure financial success.

Qualifications

• BSc in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Around 5 years of UAE experience with an infrastructure contractor.
• Proven track record in Civil, Roads, and Bridges projects covering pre- and post-contract work.
• Based in UAE, commutable distance, and able to start on short notice.

Responsibilities

• Assist with estimation, tendering, cost planning, and the preparation of BOQ.
• Post-contract: manage interim payments, variations, cost reporting, sub-contractor accounts, and final accounts.
• Cost control: monitor expenditures against budgets and identify variances.
• Contract administration: review clauses, manage commercial correspondence, and assist in evaluating claims/EOT.
• Stakeholder liaison: work with project managers, site engineers, sub-contractors, and client representatives.

Due to the award of a major new road project in Dubai, we have an urgent requirement for a talented and driven Quantity Surveyor to join our commercial team.Position Overview:This is an ideal role for an ambitious Assistant Quantity Surveyor looking to step up, or an established Mid-Level QS. You will manage a balanced portfolio of both pre-contract and post-contract commercial activities. Based on-site/offices near the Dubai/Sharjah border, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the financial success of a large-scale roads and bridges project.

Key Responsibilities

• Contract Administration: Review contract clauses, manage commercial correspondence, and assist in evaluating claims and extensions of time (EOT).
