Job summary

PORT SAEED TRANSPORT & BUILDING CONTRACTING CO L.L is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our Roads Infrastructure team in the UAE. The role focuses on accurate cost control, BOQ preparation, and value management on major road projects.

The ideal candidate has 3–4 years of relevant experience, a Bachelor’s degree in QS or Civil Engineering, strong Excel and AutoCAD skills, and the ability to join within a week. UAE experience on roads is mandatory.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• 3–4 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor.
• Experience in Roads & Infrastructure projects is mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of BOQs, quantity take-offs, and cost estimation.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and AutoCAD (knowledge of CostX or similar software is an advantage).
• Strong communication and analytical skills.
• Immediate joiners are preferred, or candidates who can join within one week.

Responsibilities

• Prepare Bills of Quantities BOQs.
• Perform quantity take-offs from drawings.
• Prepare cost estimates and project budgets.
• Evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations.
• Prepare payment certificates and invoices.
• Manage variations, claims and cost control.
• Coordinate with the project team to ensure accurate cost reporting.
• Maintain project documentation and contract records.
