Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related discipline.

• UAE/GCC project experience and familiarity with standard contracts.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Quantity Surveyor role based in Abu Dhabi. The Quantity Surveyor will prepare and review Bills of Quantities (BOQs), measure and verify quantities from drawings and site, and support the preparation of tender documents and cost estimates. The role involves monitoring project costs, preparing interim payment applications, evaluating subcontractor claims, and assisting with contract administration. The Quantity Surveyor will track variations, update cost plans, and provide regular cost reports to project management. Daily responsibilities also include coordinating with engineering, procurement, and site teams to ensure accurate cost control and compliance with company standards and project requirements.

Qualifications

Strong cost control and cost management skills, with ability to monitor budgets and identify variances. Proficiency in preparing and reviewing BOQs, with accurate quantity take-off and measurement skills. Experience in cost planning and cost reporting, including cash flow projections and project financial summaries. Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline. Experience in building construction projects (residential, commercial, and industrial) in the UAE or GCC region. Familiarity with standard forms of contracts and construction industry practices. Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and accuracy. Effective communication and coordination skills, with the ability to work in a multidisciplinary project team. Proficiency in relevant software such as MS Excel, MS Project, and quantity surveying or estimating tools.
