Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Experience in building construction projects (residential, commercial, and industrial) in the UAE or GCC region.
• Familiarity with standard forms of contracts and construction industry practices.
• Strong cost control and cost management skills, with ability to monitor budgets and identify variances.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review BOQs, measure quantities from drawings and site, and support tender documents and cost estimates.
• Monitor project costs, prepare interim payment applications, evaluate subcontractor claims, and assist with contract administration.
• Track variations, update cost plans, and provide regular cost reports to project management.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Quantity Surveyor role based in Abu Dhabi. The Quantity Surveyor will prepare and review Bills of Quantities (BOQs), measure and verify quantities from drawings and site, and support the preparation of tender documents and cost estimates. The role involves monitoring project costs, preparing interim payment applications, evaluating subcontractor claims, and assisting with contract administration. The Quantity Surveyor will track variations, update cost plans, and provide regular cost reports to project management. Daily responsibilities also include coordinating with engineering, procurement, and site teams to ensure accurate cost control and compliance with company standards and project requirements.
