Job summary

ARABIAN FIBER OPTIC CABLE MANUFACTURING L L C in Umm Al Quwain, United Arab Emirates, seeks a Quality Manager to implement the quality system and ensure QA measures are followed across the production of fiber optic cables.

You will oversee QC testing protocols, investigate non-conformities, lead CAPA and root-cause analyses (5 Why/8D), maintain ISO-compliant records, and drive continuous improvement with Six Sigma/Lean methods to meet customers' specifications and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience implementing ISO-based quality systems.
• Strong root-cause analysis skills (5 Why, 8D).
• Ability to lead CAPA and quality improvement projects.
• Experience with QMS, FAT, ICs, ITPs and FAT plans.
• Knowledge of incoming materials testing and traceability.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain quality system in line with ISO standards.
• Oversee QA testing protocols and product quality against specifications.
• Lead RCA investigations and CAPA implementation.
• Coordinate with suppliers and external inspectors; prepare ICs and FAT reports.
• Maintain quality records and documentation; manage audits and KPI trends.
• Drive continuous quality improvement using Six Sigma/Lean where applicable.

QUALITY MANAGER Implementation of the quality system and ensuring that all quality assurance measures are followed Responsible for achieving desired quality in the Product as per the specifications Oversee the development and implementation of quality control testing protocols to ensure productsmeet specified standards Investigations into non-conformities defects and customer complaints to identify root causes andimplement corrective and preventive actions CAPA Keep a close watch on non-conformance and itsresolution Lead root-cause analysis using appropriate methods such as 5 Why Fishbone or 8D according to theissue and risk Facilitate and lead quality improvement projects using tools like Six Sigma Lean or other qualitymethodologies to drive process enhancements Interact with Liaoning with external quality inspectors and preparation of IC s Maintaining all quality records as per ISO Co-ordinating with the Marketing team for FAT Routine TestImplement maintain and continually improve the quality system and ensure that approved qualityassurance measures and procedures are followed Incoming raw materials inspection Oversee the inspection and testing of incoming raw materials components and purchased products to verify compliance with quality specifications In-process inspection and clearance Corrective preventive actions on non-conforming product and customer complaintsApprovals of related certificates like government authorities Preparation of quality plans ITP FAT Internal Test Reports In-process Final Maintaining all quality records for FG In process RM Calibration EfficiencyMaintain all traceability records In process inspection and clearance RM inspection RM Testing Prepare Daily Testing Report Internal and External Maintaining the test equipment s and its calibration reportProvide training on quality principles processes and tools to employees at all levels of the organizationHandling customer complaints and its resolution First Time Right FTR achievementPreparation of Clause-wise compliance to Tenders Work closely with customers to address quality concerns provide quality documentation and ensurecustomer satisfaction Optical and Mechanical Testing Internal during Customer Inspection Safety Statutory compliances

Roles and Responsibilities

Maintain quality records and documented information in accordance with the applicable ISO systemand AFOC document-control requirements Coordinate approvals and certificates required by government authorities and other relevant bodies Adhere to work schedules and to monitor production as per plan Prepare and maintain Inspection and Test Plans ITPs Factory Acceptance Test FAT plans internaltest reports in-process inspection reports and final test reports Coordinate with Sales Marketing and customers for FAT routine tests customer witnessing andexternal inspection Liaise with external quality inspectors and prepare Inspection Certificates ICs and other requiredquality documentation Work closely with customers to address quality concerns provide required quality documents andsupport customer satisfaction Prepare daily internal and external testing reports and communicate significant failures or delays to therelevant departmentsLead and maintain the Quality Management System QMS and ensure that incoming raw materials in-process production finished fiber-optic cables testing activities and quality records comply withapproved customer specifications datasheets BOMs inspection plans and applicable requirements
