Job summary

Howco Group in the United Arab Emirates (Sharjah) seeks a Quality Administrator to support the QA team with certification and QMS documentation. The role involves entering customer specifications into MSS2 and reviewing MTRs to confirm alignment with PO specs before release.

You will prepare dispatch certifications (MTRs and COCs) and ensure documentation meets the required standards. Proficiency in OSIRIS, QNG and iMetal, plus strong Excel skills, are important for success.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of engineering material grades and their chemical, mechanical properties.
• Understanding steel making processes including melting, purification, casting, wrought, and testing methods.
• Familiarity with NDE methods preferred.

Responsibilities

• Enter all customer specifications into MSS2.
• Review and approve stock-incoming material MTRs per PO specs.
• Prepare dispatch certification packages (MTRs and COCs).
• Review DN/Job sheet/route sheet to ensure heat#, material type, dimensions agree.
• Support QA documentation work and compliance with certification procedures.
• Use Howco internal software OSIRIS, QNG & iMetal.

To support the QA in incoming and outgoing certification and other QMS documentation

Duties and Responsibilities

MSS2: Customer Spec Entry: To enter all customer specifications and purchase specifications into MSS2.

Review and approve all stock-incoming material MTRs as per PO specifications. While releasing the GIR, confirm again that the received materials are from the same pre-approved MTRs

Prepare the dispatch certification. (MTR’s and COC's, if applicable) (Before releasing the certification package, the DN/Job sheet/route sheet will be reviewed and checked to ensure that (Heat#, Material type, dimensions agree, and final inspection occurs

Supporting to QA in documentation work.

Competence , Howco Internal Software’s (OSIRIS, QNG & iMetal)

Knowledge of customer spec requirements.

Competent to review the MTR’s to HOWCO internal Purchase specification or Customer specifications.

Competence , Howco Internal Software’s (OSIRIS, QNG & iMetal)

Competent to review & understand customer material specifications.

Competent to review the MTR’s to HOWCO internal Purchase specification or Customer specifications.

Accountabilities and Performance Measures

All the required Customer spec details to be available in MSS2 on-time.

Incoming MTR details to be available in MSS2 on-time.

All the approved MTR s saves to OSIRIS on time.

GIR report.

Copy of Despatch certification provided to customer on time as per their requirement.

Copy of Despatch certification saved to OSIRIS with proper indexing for easy retrieval

Customer complaints related Cert package.

Clean and tidy environment

Qualifications

Knowledge on various engineering Material grades to understand its chemical, Mechanical, soundness requirements.

Knowledge of Steel making process like melting , secondary purification processes, casting practices, Wrought process, material testing ,NDE methods are preferred
