Job summary

Ardent Partners, Ltd. in Dubai is seeking a QA/QC Manager to safeguard build quality across a major portfolio of residential, branded residences and mixed-use projects from design through to handover.

The role requires 12+ years in construction QA/QC with at least 5 years in management, strong knowledge of Dubai authority requirements, and the ability to lead a team of QA/QC engineers and inspectors.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical or related engineering discipline.
• 12+ years' experience in construction QA/QC, with at least 5 years in a management role.
• Experience on the developer or client side is strongly preferred, ideally on high-rise, villa communities or luxury and branded residences.
• Strong knowledge of Dubai authority requirements, ISO 9001 and international standards.
• Lead auditor certification and NEBOSH/IOSH are an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Define and enforce the developer's quality standards, specifications and quality management system across all projects.
• Review and approve contractors' quality plans, ITPs, method statements and material submittals.
• Carry out regular site audits and inspections, and track NCRs and corrective actions through to close-out.
• Review design and shop drawings from a buildability and quality perspective, working with the design and project teams.
• Oversee mock-ups, testing and commissioning, and witness key inspections.
• Lead pre-handover inspections, snagging and defects management to deliver a high-quality customer handover.
• Coordinate with Dubai Municipality, Civil Defence, DEWA, RERA and other authorities as required.
• Report quality performance to senior management with clear data and trends.
• Lead and develop a team of QA/QC engineers and inspectors.
