Job summary

Al Ashram Contracting in Dubai seeks an experienced QAQC Manager to lead the quality assurance and control on our construction projects. You will ensure compliance with client specifications and international standards while driving continuous improvement.

You will develop and monitor QAQC systems, conduct audits, review quality documentation, and mentor staff to uphold excellence on fast-paced sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related field.
• 7+ years QAQC experience in construction, preferably large-scale projects.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and construction standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and monitor QAQC system across all projects.
• Conduct inspections and audits to ensure compliance with standards.
• Lead preparation and review of quality documents, ITPs, QC reports, NCRs.
• Coordinate with project teams, contractors, and suppliers to resolve issues.
• Train QAQC staff on processes and best practices.
• Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and corrective actions.

Job description

The ideal candidate will ensure all construction activities comply with established standards and client requirements, driving continuous improvement and delivering excellence.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and monitor the Quality Assurance and Quality Control system across all construction projects.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with quality standards and project specifications.
• Lead the preparation and review of quality documentation, including inspection and test plans, quality control reports, and non-conformance reports.
• Coordinate with project teams, contractors, and suppliers to resolve quality issues promptly and effectively.
• Train and mentor QAQC staff on quality processes, standards, and best practices.
• Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations in all quality activities.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement corrective actions to enhance overall project quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in QAQC within the construction industry, preferably in large-scale projects.
• Strong knowledge of international quality standards and codes, such as ISO 9001 and relevant construction specifications.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a QAQC team.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact with diverse teams and stakeholders.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with quality management software and tools is an advantage.
