Job summary

AW Connect in Dubai seeks an experienced Quality Assurance Manager to ensure brand guidelines and quality standards across construction and fit‑out projects. You will lead on‑site quality audits, review materials and finishes, drive root‑cause analysis and prepare professional QA reports while maintaining auditable records.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Civil/Construction) is required.
• Professional certifications in Quality Management are desirable.
• Minimum 6–8 years of experience in QA/QC within construction or fit‑out industries, UAE preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and continually improve QA/QC systems and checklists for construction and fit‑out projects.
• Ensure adherence to brand guidelines, design specs, material standards and finish requirements from concept to handover.
• Monitor cost‑saving and value‑engineering measures to avoid compromising quality.
• Lead on‑site quality audits, inspections and progressive checks to identify defects early and prevent rework.
• Review and approve materials, mock‑ups, samples, workmanship and finishes against benchmarks.
• Collaborate with project managers, site engineers, contractors and design teams to uphold quality without delaying delivery.
• Represent the company in quality meetings with clients and stakeholders; drive corrective actions.

Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced and meticulous Quality Assurance Manager to join our client in Dubai. The primary focus of this role is to ensure that every project in the construction and fit‑out industry adheres to our strict brand guidelines, quality standards and specifications. The successful candidate will implement robust quality control processes that guarantee cost‑cutting measures never result in sub‑par quality, protecting our reputation for excellence and delivering consistently outstanding project outcomes – the basis of our brand promise. This is a critical role that requires deep expertise in construction and fit‑out quality management, a sharp eye for detail, the ability to enforce uncompromising standards across all project phases while collaborating effectively with project teams, contractors, consultants and clients, and the capacity to understand and adhere to the DNA of our brands and strong commercial awareness.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure quality adherence, develop, implement and continuously improve comprehensive quality assurance systems, processes and checklists tailored to construction and fit‑out projects.
• Ensure every project strictly adheres to company brand guidelines, approved design specifications, material standards and finish requirements from concept through handover.
• Actively monitor and control cost‑saving and value‑engineering measures to ensure they do not compromise quality, workmanship, durability or brand promise to customers.
• Oversee execution quality on site, conduct systematic site inspections, quality audits and progressive checks at key stages of construction and fit‑out works to identify defects early and prevent rework.
• Review and approve materials, mock‑ups, samples, workmanship and finishes against approved benchmarks, drawings and brand standards before installation or sign‑off.
• Collaborate closely with project managers, site engineers, contractors, consultants and internal design operations teams to uphold quality without delaying delivery.
• Represent the company in quality‑related meetings with clients, consultants, authorities and at project progress reviews as required.
• Issue quality reports, lead root‑cause analysis and drive timely corrective and preventive actions with both internal project teams and external subcontractors.
• Prepare clear professional quality reports, inspection records, snag lists and handover documentation that meet client and company requirements.
• Maintain accurate auditable quality documentation, photographic records and digital archives for all projects.
• Champion the quality and brand ethos across the organization, lead quality induction, toolbox talks and training sessions for site teams and subcontractors to embed a culture of quality and brand compliance.

Requirements

• Proven track record of delivering QA/QC on complex or high‑specification residential, commercial, hospitality or retail fit‑out projects where brand standards and finish quality are non‑negotiable for high‑end projects and brands.
• Demonstrable experience ensuring cost‑control and value‑engineering measures never result in compromised quality, materials or workmanship.
• In‑depth knowledge of brand guideline enforcement, material and finish specifications, mock‑up approvals, snagging processes and client handover standards in fit‑out projects.
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to understand project budgets, tender specifications and the commercial impact of quality decisions.
• Excellent inspection, auditing, analytical and problem‑solving skills with a zero‑tolerance mindset for sub‑standard work.
• Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills able to influence contractors, site teams and stakeholders while maintaining professional relationships.
• Proficiency in quality management systems, inspection tools and project documentation platforms.
• Valid UAE driving license preferred; frequent site visits required.
