Job summary

Americana Company is seeking a Quality & Food Safety Operator to uphold HACCP and GMP standards in the UAE. The role involves daily checks, raw material inspection, sampling, and ensuring product quality from formulation to storage.

You will work closely with production to hold/release products and uphold hygiene and documentation standards. The ideal candidate has 1–2 years in food manufacturing, with meat processing experience being a plus.

Qualifications

• Degree in microbiology or related field required.
• 1–2 years in food manufacturing; meat processing experience is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily HACCP checks and ensure compliance with food safety plans.
• Conduct raw material inspections and verification.
• Monitor processing activities to ensure adherence to quality standards.
• Carry out product sampling, analysis, and evaluation.
• Verify product formulation and specifications.
• Ensure proper product identification, coding and storage conditions.
• Execute hold and release procedures with production heads.
• Identify, report, and manage non-conforming products.
• Maintain quality control reports and records.
• Monitor hygiene standards and ensure GMP & GHP compliance.
• Support continuous product quality improvement initiatives.
• Oversee cleaning and sanitation processes.
• Ensure proper sampling practices and documentation.
• Use and maintain measuring devices.
