Job summary

Alshaya Group is seeking a Quality Assurance professional in Dubai to support day-to-day food safety activities, ensuring compliance with HACCP, GMP, and FSSC 22000. The role includes inspections, materials and product verification, and coordination of microbiological sampling and lab work.

The candidate should have at least 2 years in food safety/quality and a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, with strong attention to detail and reporting skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in food safety or food quality field.
• Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Microbiology, or related field.
• Good understanding of HACCP, GMP, food safety, QMS, and FSSC 22000 requirements.
• Familiarity with microbiological sampling, laboratory coordination, and calibration verification.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy; good communication and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day quality and food safety function ensuring compliance with specifications, SOPs, HACCP, GMP, FSSC 22000, and Health & Safety.
• Conduct routine online and offline quality and food safety inspections.
• Verify compliance of raw materials, WIP, finished products, labels, storage, and dispatch activities.
• Monitor CCP controls, GMP, hygiene, pest control, and PPE compliance.
• Perform product attribute, dimensional, and sensory evaluations.
• Investigate and elevate quality issues, non-conformances, and customer complaints.
• Maintain quality records, check sheets, trackers, and KPI records.
• Coordinate microbiological sampling, lab testing, and results tracking.
• Verify calibration of equipment; support new product launches and process validation.
• In absence of Quality Supervisor, assume supervisor's quality activities.
