Job summary

NOV Dubai is seeking a QA Engineer to identify quality needs, implement corrective and preventive actions, review NCRs, analyze root causes, and support supplier quality programs across the plant. You will oversee supplier qualification, MTR reviews, calibration of measuring equipment, and the roll-out of new inspection methods, working with line managers and production teams.

The role requires experience in oil and gas manufacturing, ISO 9001, NDT Level II, and strong communication to resolve

Qualifications

• Mechanical or Production Engineering degree is required.
• ISO 9001 Internal Auditor and NDT Level II certification are essential.
• 5-7 years QA experience in Oil & Gas manufacturing environment.
• Experience with machining, NDE, welding, coating and heat treatment processes.
• ASQ CQE or CSWIP 3.1 is desirable.
• Exposure to JDE ERP system will be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Comply with NOV HSEQ policies and safety procedures.
• Perform root cause analysis for NCRs and implement corrective actions.
• Manage supplier quality documentation and customer documentation requests.
• Qualify and maintain welding and NDE certification requirements.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to resolve quality issues across location/vendor network.
• Lead RCAs and drive corrective actions for internal and external non-conformities.
• Oversee measurement equipment calibration and inspection methods.
• Assist in audits (internal/external) and participate in PPM/contract reviews.
