Job summary

Global Process Systems LLC is seeking an experienced QA/QC coordinator/engineer for EPC oil & gas projects. You will implement and maintain the QA/QC system at vendor sites, review ITPs, NDT procedures, and quality plans, and witness inspections to ensure compliance with ASME, ASTM, AWS, and client requirements.

You will lead internal audits, develop project-specific checklists, review MRBs, and coordinate with client vendors. Travel within the UAE and internationally is required.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering.
• Certifications: AWS‑CWI/SCWI or CSWIP 3.1/3.2, ASNT Level‑II/III NDT methods (RT, UT, PT, MT), ISO 9001‑2015 internal/lead auditor, and Bgas/NACE coating inspections (preferred).
• Knowledge: Proficient with pressure vessels, heat exchangers, valves, pumps, and other packaged items; experienced in welding processes and techniques, MTC review, NDT (RT, UT, PT, MT, VT), surface preparation and painting inspections, pre‑commissioning activities; familiar with construction codes and standards such as ASME, ASTM, AWS, BS, and EEMUA.
• Experience: Minimum 12 years as a QAQC coordinator/engineer on EPC projects within the oil and gas industry.
• Skills: Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities; strong administrative and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Resolve quality issues and manage non-conforming reports.
• Review and evaluate inspection reports per code/client requirements.
• Ensure MRB reports are maintained and compiled.
• Review and approve MRBs from subcontractors.
• Assist DCC in preparing final MRB for the project.
• Adhere to objectives, safety, regulatory, environmental, quality, and schedule expectations.
• Travel to the UAE and internationally; a valid UAE driving license is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Implement quality assurance and quality control management system at the vendor subcontractor site as per the approved project quality plan, inspection and test plans, and relevant project specifications.
• Review material requisitions and provide technical clarifications from vendors; support the project team on quality matters.
• Review and approve vendor‑related quality documents, including ITP, NDE test procedures, and quality plans.
• Witness inspections and tests as per approved procedures and inspection plans at vendor works.
• Coordinate with TPI client vendors and subcontractors to schedule inspections and review reports for compliance with respective purchase orders.
• Follow‑up on and report the status of inspections and testing activities to the project team on a weekly and monthly basis.
• Participate in weekly and monthly meetings and respond to resolve any quality‑related issues.
• Lead internal audits, perform audits, and issue reports as per the audit schedule.
• Develop project‑specific checklists for jobs to be executed as required.
• Track and expedite deliverables from subcontractor vendors.
• Participate in the resolution of quality issues and manage all non‑conforming reports.
• Review and evaluate inspection reports technically in accordance with code and client requirements.
• Ensure inspection and test reports are maintained and progressively compiled in the Manufacturers Record Book (MRB).
• Review and approve Manufacturers Record Books from subcontractors and vendors.
• Assist DCC in preparing the final Manufacturers Record Book for the project.
• Consistently adhere to project objectives and priorities, safety, regulatory, environmental, quality, and schedule expectations.
• Travel to the UAE and internationally; a valid UAE driving license is mandatory.
