Job summary

5-8 years of QA experience with a strong focus on web automation.

Strong understanding of QA processes and methodologies, including STLC, test planning, test case design, and defect lifecycle management - not limited to automation alone.

Hands-on expertise in Playwright with TypeScript, including designing and building automation frameworks from scratch.

Working knowledge / exposure to API testing and automation (REST), using tools such as Postman, RestAssured, or Playwright.

Strong programming/scripting proficiency in TypeScript / JavaScript.

Solid understanding of automation design patterns (e.g., Page Object Model) and reusable component design.

Experience integrating automation suites into CI/CD pipelines.

Demonstrated ability to work independently and take full ownership of deliverables as an individual contributor.

Strong communication and collaboration skills, with experience working across cross-functional teams and directly with UAT stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's / Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

Exposure to performance testing tools (K6, JMeter, Gatling).

Experience in banking, fintech, or digital transformation projects.
