Working with guidance from experienced colleagues and leaders, the specialist applies QHSES knowledge to defined assurance issues and evaluates solutions using accepted procedures, technical judgment, and prior examples. The role supports quality governance through audits, corrective-action verification, management-system maintenance, performance reporting, and document control.

Key Responsibilities
  • Execute planned monthly audits and communicate results without delay.
  • Record findings clearly and coordinate their review with responsible stakeholders.
  • Assist teams in identifying the underlying causes of processing and compliance problems.
  • Monitor agreed corrective actions through completion.
  • Verify corrective-action effectiveness after 30 days, 60 days, and 90 days.
  • Approve final closure only after confirming that improvements remain effective.
  • Review current procedures and coordinate necessary revisions.
  • Support the timely creation of new procedures and work instructions.
  • Create tools for measuring KPIs, quality indicators, cost of quality, and related metrics.
  • Maintain performance data for fabrication-yard functions and project teams.
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly quality reports for management.
  • Interpret trends and help process owners make evidence-based decisions.
  • Analyze workflows to confirm compliance and reveal improvement opportunities.
  • Facilitate improvement teams involving specialists, functional owners, and other employees.
  • Resolve deficiencies using logical analysis, Lean tools, coaching, and basic problem-solving methods.
  • Promote consistent processes, disciplined execution, and standardized practices.
  • Work with functional leadership to validate new and revised process outputs.
  • Support reviews of policies and procedures within the new management system.
  • Present management-system results to site and business leadership teams.
  • Represent the Quality department on designated projects and initiatives.
  • Review management-system documents within defined governance periods.
  • Move documentation efficiently through review and approval stages.
  • Publish documents after obtaining final authorization.
  • Coordinate the review repository used by functional teams.
  • Validate system metadata and attributes required for dependable reporting.
  • Process authorized document voids, supersessions, and deletions.
  • Train new users in the electronic document management system.
  • Assign system permissions after required training has been completed.
  • Help implement and enforce standardized document templates.
  • Guide functional users in creating, classifying, and organizing documents.
  • Prepare biweekly and monthly intranet updates covering management-system activity.
  • Format integration documents, circulate them for approval, and incorporate them into applicable systems.
Ideal Profile
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a relevant discipline is preferred.
  • At least 5 years of relevant EPC construction or fabrication experience.
  • Internal Auditor training in ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, or another recognized management system.
  • Practical knowledge of Lean and continuous-improvement principles.
  • Broad exposure to management systems and business software.
  • Strong analytical reasoning and structured problem-solving ability.
  • Able to combine data, professional experience, and judgment when developing solutions.
  • Capable of evaluating complex technical documents, specifications, and performance information.
  • Experienced in designing workflows, procedures, and instructional materials.
