We are seeking a QHSE Specialist leads site-level implementation, maintenance and continual improvement of Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental (QHSE) programmes across an assigned data centre campus of up to 200 MW. The role ensures QHSE requirements are embedded into daily operations, maintenance, engineering activities, project interfaces, contractor works and customer-facing requirements in line with applicable legislation, regulatory obligations, international standards, customer commitments and corporate policies.
The role conducts practical site-level technical assurance through inspections, audits, risk assessments, permit-to-work verification, incident and non-conformance management, corrective and preventive action tracking, performance monitoring, coaching and stakeholder engagement. It monitors control effectiveness, verifies compliance, coordinates improvement actions and escalates significant risks to maintain a safe, compliant, reliable and environmentally responsible critical infrastructure environment.

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in safety management, Engineering, Environmental Science, Quality Management, Occupational Health and Safety, or a related discipline is preferred. Recognised OHS/QHSE certification, such as NEBOSH General Certificate, IOSH Managing Safely, OSHA equivalent or other international qualification, is required or strongly preferred. Working knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 is required. ISO internal‑auditor/awareness training and technical training in PTW, incident investigation, risk assessment, environmental management, fire safety, first aid, work at height, confined space, electrical safety or contractor safety are desirable.
Minimum 5+ years’ QHSE experience, preferably in the GCC, supporting mission‑critical facilities, data centres, utilities, construction, commissioning, engineering, industrial operations, oil and gas, manufacturing, aviation or other high‑risk environments. Practical experience in inspections, audits, risk assessments, incident investigations, environmental checks, contractor reviews and CAPA follow‑up is required. Experience supporting ISO 9001/14001/45001 systems, audit readiness, surveillance audits, document control, NCR management and continual improvement is required. Experience with operations, engineering, maintenance, contractors, project teams and external stakeholders in live environments is required; data centre, critical infrastructure, commissioning, construction‑to‑operations or HOTO experience is desirable.
Strong knowledge of QHSE law, standards, codes and best practice for data centres and high‑risk work. Understands critical‑infrastructure risks including electrical systems, generators, fuel, chilled water, batteries, fire/life safety, lifting, work at height, confined spaces, hot works, hazardous substances, waste and contractors. Able to review RAMS, PTW, MOPs, safe systems, emergency arrangements and controls; conduct evidence‑based inspections/audits; manage incident/RCA/CAPA effectiveness; analyse QHSE data/trends; use QHSE platforms, inspection tools, dashboards, DMS, CAPA systems and Microsoft Office; communicate, organise, influence, intervene, stop work and elevate.
