Job summary

AECOM is seeking a QA/QC Engineer to implement and maintain the Project Quality Management System for infrastructure works, ensuring compliance with contract requirements, drawings, specifications, and international standards.

The role involves working with Resident Engineer, Contractors, Authorities, and Labs to foster a culture of quality, continuous improvement, and compliance throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Lead Auditor (ISO 9001) certification preferred.
• 10–15 years of QA/QC experience on major infrastructure projects.
• Experience with UAE authority requirements and quality management procedures is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor the Project Quality Plan (PQP) and QA/QC procedures.
• Ensure construction activities comply with contract specifications and quality standards.
• Coordinate inspections and witness material and field testing.
• Review NCRs, SORs, and corrective actions for timely close-out.
• Maintain quality registers and project documentation.
• Support testing, commissioning and final handover activities.
