Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Senior Manager - QA/QC to oversee all QA/QC functions for our infrastructure operations in Abu Dhabi. You will lead a team of QA/QC professionals, drive continuous improvement, and ensure projects meet the highest quality standards.

You will collaborate with project managers, engineers and contractors to establish benchmarks and CAPA processes. The role requires strong leadership, extensive experience in QA/QC, and a deep understanding of regulatory compliance and quality

Qualifications

• Minimum 20 years of QA/QC management experience in infrastructure or construction.
• Proven expertise in QA/QC methodologies, standards and best practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for data interpretation.
• Experience with CAPA implementation and process improvement.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and manage QA/QC policies and protocols for infrastructure projects.
• Lead and mentor a team of QA/QC specialists with training and feedback.
• Conduct inspections, audits, and testing to ensure compliance with specs.
• Analyze quality data to identify trends and root causes for improvements.
• Prepare detailed quality reports for stakeholders and regulatory review.

We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager - QA/QC Manager to join a large infrastructure this role you will oversee all quality assurance and quality control functions for our infrastructure operations ensuring that all projects processes and deliverables meet the highest standards of excellence. You will lead a team of QA/QC professionals drive continuous improvement initiatives and maintain compliance with industry regulations and organizational standards.

• Develop implement and manage comprehensive QA/QC policies procedures and protocols for infrastructure projects
• Lead and mentor a team of QA/QC specialists providing guidance training and performance feedback
• Conduct thorough inspections audits and testing of infrastructure components to ensure compliance with specifications and standards
• Analyze quality data and metrics to identify trends root causes and opportunities for process improvement
• Prepare detailed quality reports and documentation for stakeholder review and regulatory compliance
• Collaborate with project managers engineers and contractors to establish quality benchmarks and acceptance criteria
• Implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to address quality issues and prevent recurrence
• Manage vendor and supplier quality assessments to ensure consistent delivery of materials and services
• Optimize QA/QC processes to enhance efficiency while maintaining rigorous quality standards
• Stay current with industry best practices emerging technologies and regulatory requirements in infrastructure quality management
• Coordinate with relevant departments to ensure seamless integration of quality standards across all operational phases

Qualifications :

• Minimum 20 years of professional experience in QA/QC management preferably in infrastructure or construction sectors
• Proven expertise in quality assurance methodologies standards and best practices
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and metrics
• Demonstrated experience in process improvement optimization and continuous enhancement initiatives
• Proficiency in root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action (CAPA) implementation
• Excellent organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Strong leadership and team management capabilities
• Knowledge of relevant industry standards regulations and compliance requirements
• Proficiency in quality management systems and documentation practices
• Experience with testing protocols inspection procedures and quality control tools
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to prepare comprehensive reports
• Preferred: ISO 9001 ISO 14001 or similar quality management certifications
• Preferred: Six Sigma Lean or other process improvement methodologies
• Preferred: Experience with quality management software and data analysis tools
• Preferred: Budget management and vendor management experience
