Job summary

CRUX PRIX BUILDERS PRIVATE LIMITED in the United Arab Emirates seeks a seasoned QA/QC professional to manage quality activities for civil infrastructure, wet utilities and substation projects, ensuring compliance with approved drawings, ITPs, method statements and DEWA/TAQA requirements.

The role emphasizes inspections, testing, NCR closures, documentation, and cross-functional coordination with consultants, clients and subcontractors, with at least 5 years of UAE experience in relevant fields.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of UAE QA/QC experience for civil infrastructure.
• Experience with drainage, sewerage, stormwater, potable water, substations and related civil works.
• Knowledge of DEWA TAQA requirements and UAE standards.
• Ability to review ITPs, method statements, inspections, testing and NCRs.
• Coordination with consultants, clients and subcontractors.

Responsibilities

• Manage QA QC activities for civil infrastructure and substation projects.
• Ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, ITPs, method statements and authority requirements including DEWA TAQA.
• Conduct inspections for drainage, sewerage, stormwater, potable water, substation foundations, cable trenches, equipment foundations and related civil works.
• Prepare IRs/MIRs, test reports, inspection records and quality documentation.
• Coordinate with consultants, DEWA/TAQA, clients and site teams for inspections, approvals and quality matters.
• Monitor material quality and ensure all materials are approved and comply with project specs.
• Identify non-conformities and ensure timely NCR closure and corrective actions.
• Review and implement Quality Plans, ITPs, method statements, checklists and inspection procedures.
• Maintain complete QA QC records and ensure documentation for handover and authority approvals.
• Support internal and external quality audits and coordinate with stakeholders.

Job description

Manage QA QC activities for civil infrastructure wet utilities and substation projects in accordance with approved project requirements.

• Ensure construction works comply with approved drawings specifications ITPs method statements and authority requirements including DEWA TAQA.
• Conduct inspections for drainage sewerage stormwater potable water substation foundations control buildings cable trenches equipment foundations and associated civil works.
• Prepare and coordinate IRs MIRs test reports inspection records and quality documentation.
• Coordinate with consultants DEWA TAQA clients site teams and subcontractors for inspections approvals and quality-related matters.
• Monitor material quality and ensure all materials are approved and comply with project specifications before use at site.
• Conduct and monitor required testing including pipeline and pressure testing compaction concrete soil waterproofing and other civil tests.
• Identify non-conformities and ensure timely NCR closure and implementation of corrective actions.
• Review and implement Quality Plans ITPs method statements checklists and inspection procedures for infrastructure and substation works.
• Maintain complete QA QC records and ensure all documentation is properly compiled for project handover and authority approvals.
• Support internal and external quality audits and coordinate with consultants and clients on quality-related issues.
• Ensure all works are completed in line with DEWA TAQA requirements project specifications applicable UAE standards and approved quality procedures.

5+ years of relevant experience, including UAE experience in QA/QC for civil infrastructure, wet utilities, and substation projects.

Should have hands-on experience in drainage, sewerage, stormwater, potable water, substation foundations, cable trenches, equipment foundations, and associated civil works, with good knowledge of DEWA requirements and UAE standards.

Strong experience in IR/MIR, ITPs, method statements, inspections, testing, NCRs, quality documentation, consultant coordination, and project handover.
