Job summary

Gardinia Contracting, the team behind Azizi Developments, seeks a QA/QC Civil Inspector to lead site inspections and verify civil construction works against drawings, specs, and ITPs. The role supports project teams in delivering quality outcomes across foundations, concrete, finishing works, and materials surveillance.

Qualified candidates will have a Diploma or Bachelor's in Civil Engineering or related field with 3–6 years of relevant UAE/GCC experience and a strong track record coordinating

Qualifications

• Diploma/Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering / Civil Technology / Construction or related discipline.
• 3-6 years of experience as a QA/QC Civil Inspector in construction/contracting.
• UAE/GCC experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily site inspections of civil and structural works to ensure compliance with approved drawings and specifications.
• Inspect foundations, reinforcement & formwork, concrete works, blockwork, plastering, screeding, tiling and other civil/finishing works.
• Verify works are executed according to approved Method Statements and ITPs.
• Inspect incoming construction materials and coordinate MIRs.
• Coordinate with Consultants, Main Contractors, Subcontractors and Site Engineers for inspections and approvals.
• Identify defective/non-conforming work and coordinate corrective actions.
• Maintain inspection reports, checklists, test reports and quality records.
• Review material certificates, laboratory test reports and third-party inspection reports.
• Ensure approved materials are used and properly stored at site.
• Monitor workmanship and ensure compliance with project specifications and standards.
• Assist QA/QC Engineers in preparing quality reports and project documentation.
• Participate in internal quality audits and consultant inspections.
• Support project handover with complete quality documentation.

The QA/QC Civil Inspector will be responsible for conducting site inspections and ensuring that civil construction activities are executed in accordance with approved drawings, project specifications, method statements, ITPs, applicable codes and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct daily site inspections of civil and structural works to ensure compliance with approved drawings and specifications.

Education & Experience:

• 3-6 years of experience as a QA/QC Civil Inspector in construction/contracting.
• Strong site inspection experience in building or civil construction projects.
• UAE/GCC experience is preferred.
• Experience working with main contractors, subcontractors and consultants is highly desirable.
