Job summary

CFI Financial Group is seeking a backend developer for our Dubai office to help build scalable systems powering crypto trading and financial services. You will collaborate with product and engineering teams to design secure services, implement tests, and optimize performance in a fast-paced fintech environment.

Candidates should have strong Python and SQL skills and experience with crypto projects. Cloud familiarity and containerization are a plus.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Python with backend framework experience.
• Strong SQL skills for designing and optimizing relational DBs.
• Experience in cryptocurrency or blockchain projects.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate to design and implement backend features for trading and crypto products.
• Translate business requirements into scalable, secure tech solutions.
• Define technical specifications and select technologies and workflows.
• Implement unit and integration tests to ensure quality delivery.
• Participate in code reviews and drive refactoring and optimization.
• Design secure integrations with blockchain networks and wallets.
• Contribute to backend systems powering crypto trading, custody, settlement, risk management.
• Ensure performance, security, scalability, and maintainability standards.
• Present designs and implementations to leads or CTO.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
