Job summary

ValueLabs in Dubai seeks a seasoned Python Engineer to join our dynamic team, building robust web frameworks, backend code for efficient data serving, and data transformations for data-driven applications.

The candidate should excel in Python, be proficient with Flask or FastAPI, and have hands-on experience with microservices, containerization, and cloud-friendly workflows. Knowledge of MongoDB or PostgreSQL is a plus.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Python API development and service integration experience.
• Experience creating scalable, observable frameworks and APIs.
• Strong knowledge of Microservices, MongoDB, and data handling.
• Hands-on performance tuning, debugging and monitoring.
• Familiarity with SDLC, modern security practices and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Develop Python-based APIs using Flask and FastAPI for data-driven applications.
• Design and implement microservices with scalable architectures.
• Secure APIs using OAuth/JWT and API gateways.
• Work with Docker and Kubernetes for containerized deployments.
• Contribute to CI/CD and distributed services monitoring.
