Sarwa Digital Wealth Limited is seeking a backend engineer to build and evolve the platform with a focus on APIs, data pipelines, and third-party integrations. You will contribute to a scalable microservice architecture and ensure maintainable code in production.

Ideal candidates bring strong Python/Go experience, API design, and a passion for building robust systems at scale, with remote-first collaboration and an Abu Dhabi office option.

Qualifications

• Production systems experience with a sizable user base or high data volume.
• Strong backend design fundamentals including databases, APIs, caching, and security.
• Experience with microservices, domain-driven/clean architecture, and event sourcing is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Solve core technical challenges and own backend features.
• Develop and maintain a microservice architecture spanning Investing, Trading, Account Management, Funding.
• Create scalable services handling tens of thousands of clients.
• Deliver software projects on time through collaboration with product/tech/marketing/ops.
• Ensure code quality with automated tests and robust error handling.
• Build tools and processes to accelerate development and maintenance.
