Job summary

LT-Larsen & Toubro in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Site Engineer Electrical (PV) to lead all electrical activities on a large solar project. You will supervise on-site installation of inverters, transformers, cabling, PV panels, and grid connections, ensuring design conformance and safety. The role collaborates with civil and mechanical teams and requires close coordination with subcontractors and authorities to secure permits and approvals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field.
• 6–12 years of experience in electrical engineering, with at least 3 years in solar PV projects.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, especially in large-scale solar power plants.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and supervise installation of electrical systems on site.
• Ensure compliance with project specs, standards, and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with civil, mechanical, and project teams for integration.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and stakeholders for timely delivery.
• Promote safety and comply with HSE regulations.
• Prepare and submit regular status reports to the project manager.
• Identify electrical issues early and develop solutions.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations and project specs.
• Liaise with local authorities for permits and approvals.
