Job summary

LT-Larsen & Toubro is seeking a Construction Manager - Solar PV to lead all on-site construction activities for utility-scale solar projects from ground-breaking through commissioning. You will supervise civil, mechanical and electrical works on site, ensuring adherence to drawings and safety standards.

The role demands extensive solar PV project experience and a hands-on, proactive approach to coordinating multi-discipline teams and tracking progress in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.
• Construction management certification (PMP/CCM) desirable.
• 12 years of direct experience in utility-scale solar PV.

Responsibilities

• Direct all daily on-site construction activities, including civil works, mechanical assembly, and electrical works.
• Manage on-site infrastructure layout and logistics for millions of components.
• Resolve RFIs and design discrepancies promptly to avoid delays.
• Oversee pile load testing and torque validation for tracker mechanisms.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports with actual vs planned curves.

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering

Construction management certification (PMP/CCM) desirable
