Job summary

Sanzen Developments is seeking an experienced Commercial & Procurement Manager to oversee the company’s procurement activities, supplier relationships, commercial negotiations, contracts, and cost control.

The role will manage sourcing of materials, services, and subcontractors, negotiate terms, monitor supplier performance, and ensure adherence to UAE regulations and internal policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Procurement, Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.
• Minimum 4–5 years of UAE experience in procurement/commercial management.
• Experience within real estate development, construction, fit-out, or property-related businesses is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of supplier sourcing, contract negotiation, tendering, and procurement procedures.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage multiple suppliers and projects simultaneously.
• Strong MS Excel and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage the complete procurement cycle, including sourcing, RFQs, quotations, evaluation, negotiation, purchase orders, and supplier selection.
• Identify, evaluate, and maintain relationships with reliable suppliers, subcontractors, consultants, and service providers.
• Negotiate prices, payment terms, delivery schedules, warranties, and other commercial conditions.
• Prepare and review supplier and subcontractor agreements, service contracts, purchase orders, and commercial terms.
• Coordinate tendering activities and prepare commercial comparison sheets for management approval.
• Review quotations and ensure competitive pricing before issuing purchase orders or contracts.
• Maintain an approved vendor database and regularly evaluate supplier performance.
• Monitor existing contracts, renewal dates, payment terms, deliverables, and contractual obligations.
• Work closely with Finance, Projects, Engineering, Administration, Legal, and other departments.
• Ensure procurement is carried out within approved budgets and company policies.
• Support project teams with material, contractor, consultant, and service-provider requirements.
• Manage commercial negotiations for major purchases and long-term agreements.
• Identify opportunities for cost savings without compromising quality or operational requirements.
• Resolve supplier disputes, delivery issues, contractual matters, and commercial discrepancies.
• Maintain complete records of quotations, approvals, contracts, POs, invoices, and supplier documentation.
• Prepare procurement and commercial reports for senior management.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable UAE regulations.
