Job summary

Wadan Developments LLC in Dubai seeks an experienced Purchaser to source and procure materials for interior fit-out projects. You will negotiate with suppliers, issue POs, and monitor delivery while ensuring quality and cost controls are aligned with project timelines.

The role requires 5 years of UAE purchasing experience in interior fit-out or construction, proficiency in ERP and MS Office, and strong vendor management skills to maintain supplier relationships and meet client specifications.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of UAE purchasing experience in interior fit-out, construction, or related industries.
• Strong knowledge of interior finishing materials, MEP items, joinery, and procurement processes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and ERP/procurement software.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and organizational skills in a fast‑paced environment.
• Ability to read technical drawings, BOQs and specifications and coordinate with vendors.

Responsibilities

• Source and procure construction and fit-out materials, including finishes, MEP items, furniture, fixtures, and equipment.
• Obtain and compare quotations from multiple suppliers to ensure best price, quality, and delivery terms.
• Negotiate prices, payment terms, and contracts with suppliers and subcontractors.
• Prepare and issue purchase orders per company procedures.
• Monitor delivery schedules to meet project timelines.
• Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, and storekeepers on material needs and inventory.
• Maintain supplier databases and documentation in accordance with company policies.
