Job summary

Confidential Company in the United Arab Emirates seeks a QA/QC Inspector to coordinate inspection activities for pumps and rotating equipment. You will verify material traceability, inspect components, and ensure repairs follow approved procedures.

You will prepare ITPs, coordinate third-party inspections, manage NDT and welding checks, and maintain accurate inspection records, contributing to ISO 9001 quality assurance and customer requirements.

Qualifications

• Diploma/degree in Mechanical Engineering with QA/QC focus.
• 3–5 years QA/QC inspection experience in pumps/rotating equipment.
• Certified Welding Inspector – CSWIP 3.1 preferred.
• NDT Level II in PT/MT/UT advantageous.
• Experience with API, ASME, ISO specs is required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect incoming materials against PO, drawings and requirements.
• Verify material identification, heat numbers, MTC and traceability.
• Perform PMI and material verification when required.
• Inspect pump and rotating equipment during dismantling, repair and assembly.
• Ensure repairs follow approved procedures and customer requirements.
• Prepare and follow ITPs, Method Statements, and QA plans.
• Coordinate customer/third-party inspections.
• Oversee welding and NDT inspections and verify WPS/PQR.
• Carry out dimensional inspection and record results.
• Maintain inspection records and traceability.
