Job summary

ICCEnergy in Basra, Iraq seeks an experienced QA/QC Engineer - Rotating Equipment to ensure quality during maintenance, repair, overhaul, and testing of rotating equipment in the Basra workshop.

The role requires 6-10 years of QA/QC experience in the oil & gas sector, with strong knowledge of pumps, compressors, turbines, motors and gearboxes, and familiarity with API/ASME/ISO standards. You will prepare quality docs and liaise with workshop teams to uphold HSE policies.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 6-10 years of QA/QC experience in rotating equipment within the Oil & Gas industry.
• Strong knowledge of pumps, compressors, turbines, motors, and gearboxes.
• Understanding of API, ASME, ANSI, ISO, and related industry standards.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and specifications.
• Experience preparing quality documentation and reports.

Responsibilities

• Maintain QA/QC systems, procedures, and inspection processes.
• Inspect rotating equipment such as pumps, compressors, turbines, and motors during repair and testing.
• Verify workshop activities comply with approved procedures and standards.
• Prepare inspection reports, quality records, and customer documentation.
