Job summary

LEO Middle East FZE in Dubai is seeking a motivated Application Engineer to join our growing technical team. This role suits a Mechanical Engineering graduate or a young engineer aiming to build a long-term career in pumps, water supply systems and fluid handling solutions.

You will select pumps and pumping systems, perform basic hydraulic calculations, prepare quotations and product documentation, and support the sales team and project teams across the region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics or related discipline.
• Fresh graduates welcome.
• 1-3 years of relevant engineering experience is an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of fluid mechanics, pumps, motors and hydraulic systems is preferred.
• Strong willingness to learn and develop technical expertise.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good command of spoken and written English.
• Candidates currently based in the UAE are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Select suitable pumps and pumping systems according to customer and project requirements.
• Perform basic hydraulic calculations and pump selection.
• Prepare technical quotations, pump selection sheets, technical submittals and product documentation.
• Review project specifications and identify suitable products and technical solutions.
• Provide technical support to the sales team, distributors, contractors and customers.
• Communicate with consultants and contractors regarding technical requirements.
• Support project teams during product selection, approval and execution.
• Coordinate with LEO's factory and technical departments on product and application issues.
• Continuously develop knowledge of pumps, motors, hydraulic systems and water supply applications.
