Job summary

One&Only Resorts in Dubai is seeking a Public Area Attendant to clean, replenish supplies, and maintain public hotel areas to the highest standards. You will follow One Za’abeel protocols and ensure hygiene is maintained at all times.

Key duties include reporting defects, maintaining stock of supplies, and supporting safety and training for new colleagues. Previous five-star hotel experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be Grade 12 or A Level educated.
• Hospitality graduate an advantage.
• Must be skilled to perform the job of Public Area Attendant.
• Must have minimum 2 years job experience in a five-star hotel.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all defects are reported immediately and follow up to ensure they have been completed.
• Assist with preventative maintenance programs for the public areas.
• Maintain an adequate par stock of guest supplies, cleaning supplies and equipment for assigned section.
• Ensure that all equipment is in good working condition at all times.
• Ensure proper use and care of equipment.
• Assist with monthly inventories of all chemicals, supplies, and equipment where required.
• Report repairs and maintenance items to Team Leader for reporting and follow up.
• Maintain cleanliness to all assigned work areas and ensure standards are followed.

About The Role

Public Area Attendant is responsible for cleaning, replenishing supplies and maintaining the public areas of the Hotel to the highest standard, adhering to O&O One Za’abeel standards at all times, and ensuring the cleanliness / hygiene is followed consistently.

Key Duties And Responsibilities

• Ensure all defects are reported immediately and follow up to ensure they have been completed.
• To assist with preventative maintenance programs for the public areas.

• Actively assist with monthly inventories of all chemicals, supplies, and equipment where required.
• Report repairs and maintenance items to Team Lader for reporting and following up.
• Responsible for maintaining cleanliness to all assigned work areas ensuring that they have been cleaned to the highest level and standards are being followed.
• Ensure the Lost and Found procedure is adhered to at all times.
• Maintain hygienic & safe work practices.
• Assist in new colleague job skill training as and when requested by the superiors
• Ensure that the task provided daily are executed to the expectation of O&O One Zaabeel standard.
• Attends and participates in team events.
• Participates in required training and briefings related to the job.
• To effective communicate and maintain a favorable working relationship with colleagues at all levels.
• Assure professional attitude towards guest and colleges at all times.
• Ensure to always meet Grooming and Hygiene policy of One&Only One Zaabeel when in uniform.
• Assist in other tasks in the department & Hotel when requested by Team Leader or Manager.

About You

• Must be of Grade 12 or A level standard educated. (Be Fluent in Spoken & Written English, any other foreign language is a plus factor)
