Job summary

One&Only Resorts in Dubai is seeking a Storekeeper for Housekeeping to manage stock, requisitions and par levels. You will ensure accurate receiving, issuing and filing of invoices and POs while maintaining orderly storerooms in line with hygiene standards.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of Middle East experience in a five-star hotel, strong English skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office to support daily operations.

About The Role

Storekeeper, Housekeeping is in charge of requesting and replenishing the floor items to deep the par stock accordingly, in accordance with the Policies and Standards set by One&Only One Za’abeel .

Key Duties And Responsibilities

• To have a sound knowledge of One&Only Standards pertaining to the Hotels and the Department.
• Issues request and replenish the guest room and private bar item to reach the par stock accordingly, by raising weekly / monthly store requisition through system.
• Ensure all store requisitions are approved by the Executive Housekeeper and approved depending upon the hotel's operations procedure.
• Ensure the invoices & POs raised are well tracked and filed for record keeping.
• Maintain clear and organized records to ensure all reports and invoices are filed and stored properly.
• Maintain and update all requisition records.
• Monitor PAR levels for all housekeeping and laundry items to ensure proper levels.
• Prepares the daily stock and store-related reports.
• Prepares report of monthly amenities consumption to Executive Housekeeper.
• Report in writing all supplies which are not available to the Laundry Manager & Assistant Manager.
• Monitors guest room items quality and private bar items expiry dates.
• Store housekeeping and laundry operational stock.
• Check day-to-day on storage facilities for upkeep and hygiene and follows DM approved guidelines.
• Receive and store direct deliveries.
• Verify goods arrived as per the agreed purchase, delivery note and agreed quantity has been received.
• Ensure the quantity requested and the quantity issued always matches.
• Refuse acceptance of damaged, unacceptable, or incorrect items.
• Ensure cleanliness of all areas, keeping storage areas clean & tidy and in strict compliance with hygiene regulations.
• Conduct inventory of cleaning equipment.
• Maintain and update the equipment’s record file.
• Collect supplies from General Stores.
• Prepare and issue Housekeeping supplies to all floors.
• Coordinate the repair of cleaning equipment including chemical dispensers.
• Record all cleaning equipment sent out for repair and prepare the corresponding gate pass.
• Dispose of unusable cleaning equipment.
• Coordinate furniture repairs with Engineering and Team Leaders.
• Keep the storeroom neat and in good order.
• Support administrational tasks as required.
• Set-up and organize all Prohost refill to each floor.
• Ensure all trolleys are stocked neatly with per stock daily.
• Ensure all stocking is completed and distributed timely.
• Ensure spare stock of supplies as per set standard is available in the store pantries.
• Supervise all linen runners.
• Spot check trolleys preparation and delivery accuracy.
• Recommend stock level on trolleys in high – low season.
Oversee Laundry contractors team. Rules and regulations for storage.Comply with HS&E

About You

• Must have a High School graduation certificate or any equivalent combination of training and experience.
• Must have at least 1 year of experience in a similar role in the Middle East and in a five-star Hotel.
• Must have a good understanding of Housekeeping and Purchasing operations.
• Must be competent in English and literate in Computing using Microsoft Office.
• Must be able to communicate well with good interpersonal skills.
