Job summary

Algihaz Marine is seeking an experienced Tender & Proposals professional to support the preparation and coordination of technical and commercial proposals for offshore EPC/EPCI projects. You will analyze client requirements, assist in cost estimation, and ensure compliant, competitive tenders under the guidance of the Proposal Manager.

Responsibilities include coordinating inputs across disciplines, developing cost estimates, and supporting risk and execution planning for tender submissions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, civil, or naval engineering.
• Desirable certification in estimation, contracts, or project management.
• Minimum 12–14 years total experience with 7–10 years offshore EPC/EPCI tendering or project work.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing proposals for offshore EPC/EPCI projects under guidance of the Proposal Manager.
• Coordinate inputs from engineering, SCM, operations, planning and contracts.
• Support cost estimates, bid summaries, and pricing sheets as required.
• Prepare technical clarifications, deviations, and tender documents for review.
• Liaise with vendors/subcontractors for quotations and technical data.

Role Summary

Responsible for supporting the preparation and coordination of technical and commercial proposals for T&I/EPC/EPCI projects in the Offshore and Marine Construction sector. The role involves analyzing client requirements, assisting in cost estimation, coordinating inputs from multiple disciplines, and ensuring the submission of compliant, accurate, and competitive tenders under the guidance of the Proposal Manager.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of proposals for offshore projects (fixed platforms, subsea pipelines, subsea cables, jackets, and associated structures) under the guidance of a Proposal Manager.
• Support the preparation of Charter Party offers as assigned by Commercial Director / Proposal Manager
• Review and summarize tender documents, technical specifications, and scope of work.
• Coordinate with Engineering, SCM, Operations, Planning, and Contracts departments to gather required input and ensure technical and commercial compliance.
• Support development of cost estimates, bid summaries, and pricing sheets as per project requirements.
• Prepare and compile technical clarifications, deviations, and proposal documentation for management and client review.
• Liaise with vendors and subcontractors to obtain quotations and technical information.
• Maintain tender tracking sheets, vendor databases.
• Support in the preparation of risk assessment inputs, execution strategies, and tender presentations.
• Participate in post-tender clarifications and handover to project execution teams as directed

Education & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or Naval Engineering.
• Certified training in Estimation, Contracts, or Project Management (desirable).
• Minimum 7-10 years of relevant experience in offshore EPC/EPCI tendering or project engineering or offshore operations
• Minimum overall experience of 12 – 14 years.

Skills & Competencies

Essential:

• Knowledge of marine operations, loadout, and installation methods.
• Good understanding of tendering and estimation processes in offshore construction.
• Working knowledge of contractual terms, scope interpretation, and cost structures.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and coordination skills.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Team-oriented with ability to work under tight deadlines.

Desirable:

• Familiarity with Primavera, MS Project, and AutoCAD.
• Exposure to FIDIC/LOGIC & BIMCO contract formats.
