Job summary

Astra Engineering & Construction in Abu Dhabi seeks an experienced Proposal Writer to develop technical proposals aligned with tender requirements. You will review ITTs and RFPs, craft technical write-ups, and coordinate with Engineering to translate client needs into compelling submissions.

The role requires a strong technical writing background, 10+ years in proposal/tendering, and proficiency in MS Word/Excel. UAE/GCC experience is advantageous for timely, compliant proposals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or relevant discipline.
• 10+ years of experience in Proposal Writing / Tendering / Bid Preparation.
• Strong technical writing and documentation skills.
• Experience in EPC, Oil & Gas or Engineering & Construction preferred.
• Ability to understand engineering and commercial requirements.
• Excellent MS Word and MS Excel skills.
• Strong attention to detail and deadline management.
• UAE/GCC experience will be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and develop technical proposals in line with tender requirements.
• Review ITTs and RFPs to ensure alignment with client needs.
• Develop technical write-ups and methodologies for proposals.
• Outline scope of work and client requirements.
• Coordinate with Engineering for inputs and reviews.
• Gather inputs from Estimation, Procurement, and Commercial teams.
• Develop and maintain compliance matrices and proposal templates.
• Ensure proposals are clear, accurate, compliant, and professionally presented.
