Orient Takaful PJSC, a Public Joint Stock Company within the Al-Futtaim Group, is based in Dubai and serves UAE clients with takaful solutions. We are hiring an Insurance Assistant – Property Claims to join our claims team.

Responsibilities: register and process Property claims, review policy coverage and documents, monitor reserves, prepare claim notes, and coordinate with policyholders, brokers, loss adjusters and service providers.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Insurance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of insurance experience, preferably in Property claims.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Register, process, and monitor assigned Property claims; review policy coverage, terms, warranties, exclusions, loss adjuster reports, and supporting documents.
• Maintain appropriate claim reserves and complete documentation.
• Coverage assessment alongside liability and quantum.
• Prepare clear, reasoned claim notes recommending approval, settlement, declinature, or further investigation, supported by relevant policy provisions and evidence.
• Handle assigned Property claims end-to-end within the given authority, while supporting the Team Leader with claim monitoring, follow-ups, reporting, and workflow requirements.
• Coordinate with policyholders, brokers, re-insurers, surveyors, loss adjusters, and service providers, providing timely claim-status updates.
• Manage recovery, salvage, and reinsurance requirements, where applicable.

Insurance Assistant – Property Claims

Key Responsibilities

• Register, process, and monitor assigned Property claims; review policy coverage, terms, warranties, exclusions, loss adjuster reports, and supporting documents; follow up on outstanding requirements; and maintain accurate system records.
• Maintain appropriate claim reserves and complete documentation.
• Coverage assessment alongside liability and quantum.
• Prepare clear, reasoned claim notes recommending approval, settlement, declinature, or further investigation, supported by relevant policy provisions and evidence.
• Handle assigned Property claims end-to-end within the given authority, while supporting the Team Leader with claim monitoring, follow-ups, reporting, and workflow requirements.
• Coordinate with policyholders, brokers, re-insurers, surveyors, loss adjusters, and service providers, providing timely claim-status updates.
• Manage recovery, salvage, and reinsurance requirements, where applicable.
• Process and communicate approved settlements or declinatures within the prescribed TAT and maintain all supporting records in DMS.
• Comply with company policies, procedures, service standards, and applicable regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Insurance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of insurance experience, preferably in Property claims.
• Knowledge of Property insurance products and claims processes is a must.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and Word.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
