Job summary

Black & Grey HR is partnering with a leading Fit Out Company to hire a Project Technical Manager Fit-Out who will lead technical coordination across design integration and construction documentation on multiple fit-out projects.

You will oversee multidisciplinary coordination across architecture, interior design, MEP, and fire life safety, review drawings, submittals, and ensure compliance with codes and standards while guiding site teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Interior Design, or related field.
• 12 years of relevant fit-out industry experience.
• Strong knowledge of fit-out construction, interior finishes and MEP coordination.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD; Revit and BIM coordination advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary coordination across architecture, interior design, MEP, ELV, fire and life safety.
• Review design drawings, shop drawings, specs and as-built docs.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, landlords and authorities for approvals.
• Review material submittals, samples, and joinery details.
• Provide technical support to site teams and resolve issues.
• Ensure compliance with project specs, codes and standards.
• Monitor submissions, support value engineering and coordinate with procurement.
• Lead technical engineers and CAD/BIM teams for timely docs.
• Coordinate inspections, testing, commissioning, snagging and handover.

Black & Grey HR is partnering with a leading Fit Out Company who is looking to hire for a Project Technical Manager Fit-Out role to join their team and lead technical coordination design integration and construction documentation across fit-out projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary coordination across architecture interior design MEP ELV fire and life safety and specialist systems.
• Review design drawings shop drawings technical specifications and as-built documentation.
• Coordinate with clients consultants landlords and authorities for technical approvals and clarifications.
• Review material submittals samples mock-ups joinery details and alternative material proposals.
• Provide technical support to site teams and resolve design and construction-related issues.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications building codes quality standards and authority requirements.
• Monitor technical submissions support value engineering and coordinate with procurement planning QS and construction teams.
• Lead technical engineers and CAD/BIM teams ensuring timely delivery of technical documentation.
• Coordinate inspections testing and commissioning snagging and final project handover.

Requirements

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Architecture Civil Engineering Interior Design or a related discipline.
• 12 years of relevant experience preferably within the fit-out industry.
• Strong knowledge of fit-out construction interior finishes joinery and MEP coordination.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office; Revit Navisworks and BIM coordination skills are an advantage.
