Job summary

The Code for Decoration Design & Fit Out LLC in Dubai is seeking an experienced Technical Architect - Fit-Out to lead technical coordination, shop drawings, and submittals for high-end interior projects. You will ensure works align with approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements.

The role requires at least 5 years in Dubai/UAE fit-out projects, a degree in Civil/Architectural Engineering, proficiency in AutoCAD, and familiarity with MEP coordination.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of relevant Dubai/UAE fit-out project experience.
• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or related field.
• Strong knowledge of interior fit-out and renovation works.
• Experience in preparing and coordinating shop drawings and technical submissions.
• Knowledge of MEP coordination and finishes.

Responsibilities

• Review and coordinate architectural, structural, and MEP drawings.
• Prepare, review, and coordinate shop drawings and technical details.
• Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams.
• Prepare and submit material submittals, RFIs, method statements, and technical documents.
• Ensure drawings and technical submissions comply with project specifications and consultant requirements.
• Provide technical support to the site team during project execution.
• Identify and resolve technical issues and site discrepancies.
• Coordinate MEP services with architectural and interior fit-out works.
• Review site conditions and propose practical technical solutions.
• Conduct site inspections and ensure works are carried out as per approved drawings.
• Maintain proper documentation and follow up on consultant approvals.
• Assist the Project Manager and site team with technical coordination and project requirements.

The candidate will be responsible for technical coordination, shop drawings, material submittals, site technical support, and ensuring that fit-out works are executed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements.

Requirements

• Good knowledge of architectural finishes, gypsum works, ceilings, flooring, joinery, doors, kitchens, and related fit-out works.
• Knowledge of MEP coordination is required.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD; knowledge of Revit/BIM is an advantage.
• Candidates with strong Dubai fit-out project experience will be preferred.
