Job summary

Vertiv Group Corporation is seeking an experienced Project Planner to support end-to-end planning and execution of Busbar system projects. You will develop and maintain schedules, coordinate with engineering, procurement, production, and site teams, and ensure timely delivery in line with milestones.

The role requires strong analytical, communication, and multi-project management skills; you will monitor progress and provide schedule insights to drive project success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, PM, or related field.
• Proven experience as a Project Planner or similar role.
• Proficient in MS Project or Primavera P6.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using planning tools.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, production and project teams for inputs.
• Track progress and update schedules regularly.
• Identify delays, risks and bottlenecks; recommend corrective actions.
• Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports for management.
• Monitor resource allocation and support capacity planning.
• Maintain baseline schedules and manage changes via change control.
• Ensure alignment of timelines with organizational goals and customer requirements.
• Participate in project reviews and provide schedule-related insights.
• Support continuous improvement in planning processes and tools.

• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using planning tools and techniques.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, production, and project management teams to gather inputs for planning.
• Track project progress and update schedules regularly to reflect actual performance.
• Identify potential delays, risks, and bottlenecks, and recommend corrective actions.
• Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports for management review.
• Monitor resource allocation and support capacity planning.
• Maintain baseline schedules and manage changes through proper change control processes.
• Ensure alignment of project timelines with organizational goals and customer requirements.
• Participate in project review meetings and provide schedule-related insights.
• Support continuous improvement in planning processes and tools.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or related field.
• Proven experience as a Project Planner or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of project planning tools such as MS Project, Primavera P6, or equivalent.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Good understanding of manufacturing, engineering, or construction project environments (preferred).
