Job summary

Gulf Contracting & Landscaping (GCL) invites an experienced Project Manager - Building Projects to lead large-scale construction initiatives in Dubai, ensuring delivery within budget, schedule, quality, and safety standards.

The role requires strong leadership of multidisciplinary teams, consultants, subcontractors, and stakeholders across the project lifecycle, with a focus on effective QA/QC and HSE compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
• PMP certification preferred.
• 15+ years of experience in building construction projects.
• 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager for large-scale building projects.
• Proven UAE/GCC experience with major building projects.
• Contractor-side experience is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of building construction projects from mobilization to handover.
• Manage scope, schedule, cost, quality and risk activities.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams.
• Develop and monitor project execution plans and construction strategies.
• Ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, contracts, and regulations.
• Identify risks and implement corrective actions to keep projects on track.
• Lead project meetings and provide updates to senior management.
• Oversee procurement, subcontractor activities, and coordination of disciplines.
• Ensure QA/QC and HSE standards are implemented effectively.
• Manage handover, testing, commissioning and close-out activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the overall delivery of building construction projects from mobilization to completion and handover.

• Manage project progress, identify risks, and implement corrective actions.
• Lead project meetings and provide regular updates to senior management.
• Oversee construction, engineering, procurement, and subcontractor activities.
• Ensure effective implementation of QA/QC and HSE standards.
• Manage project handover, testing, commissioning, and close-out activities.
