Job summary

Confidential Company in Dubai seeks a seasoned Project Director to lead and own end-to-end delivery of large-scale infrastructure programs. You will drive scope, schedule, budget, safety and quality, while coordinating design, construction and controls teams and serving as the key client interface.

Candidates should have a Civil Engineering degree, chartered status, PMP or equivalent, and at least 15 years of leadership for turnkey projects over AED 100 million. Arabic is a plus.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience managing large-scale infrastructure projects.
• Proven track record delivering projects > AED 100 million.
• Strong commercial and contract management including claims and negotiations.
• Experience leading large multidisciplinary teams in matrix organizations.
• Arabic speaking preferred but not mandatory.
• Available to join on short notice.

Responsibilities

• Lead and own end-to-end project delivery from inception to completion, ensuring scope schedule, budget, quality, and safety compliance.
• Act as primary client interface for contractual, technical and commercial matters.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams across design, construction and project controls.
• Negotiate scope changes and contractual amendments; monitor KPIs and milestones.
• Drive Value Engineering to optimize lifecycle cost and performance.
• Ensure compliance with HSE and QA procedures; manage claims and risk mitigation.
• Prepare and present progress reports to senior management and stakeholders.

Job description

Lead and own overall project delivery from inception to completion ensuring adherence to scope schedule budget quality and safety requirements Develop and implement the Project Execution Plan Health Safety Plan Control Plan and other key project documentation Act as the primary client interface for all contractual technical and commercial matters Manage and coordinate multidisciplinary teams across design construction and project controls functions Negotiate scope changes variation orders and contractual amendments Monitor project performance against KPIs milestones and deliverables implement corrective measures where required Coordinate for procurement and management of subcontractors consultants and suppliers Drive Value Engineering initiatives to achieve optimum lifecycle cost and performance Ensure compliance with HSE and Quality Assurance procedures Manage claims disputes and risk mitigation strategies Prepare and present progress reports to senior management and stakeholders Foster a collaborative high-performance culture across all project participants Experience in handling large scale turnkey projects onshore and offshore with respect to accommodation buildings PEB and EPC design and build contracts Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related discipline (BSc, BEng, or MEng).

Chartered status or membership of a recognized professional institution (MICE, MCIOB, MRICS) preferred.

PMP or equivalent Project Management certification is an advantage.
