Job summary

GRS Link, recruiting for an established UAE contractor, seeks a Senior Project Engineer / Site Manager to lead site execution across utilities and civil infrastructure projects in Dubai and Al Ain. You will manage site engineers, supervisors and subcontractors, reporting to the Project Manager.

Ideal candidates hold a Civil Engineering degree with 10+ years' experience, including 3+ years in Construction/Site Management, and proven UAE experience on underground utilities projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required.
• 10+ years' experience in civil construction with at least 3 years as Construction Manager or Site Manager.
• Strong UAE experience on underground utilities projects.

Responsibilities

• Plan and run daily site works and resources across one or more sites.
• Oversee deep excavation shoring, dewatering and pipe laying.
• Manage permits, NOCs and inspections with DEWA, RTA, DM or ADM.
• Lead HSE on site including permits to work and trench safety.
• Track progress, costs, variations and keep site records for claims.

The role

You ll lead site execution across utilities projects sewer stormwater water and TSE networks and pump stations You ll manage site engineers supervisors and subcontractors and report to the Project Manager

Key responsibilities

Plan and run daily site works resources and workfronts across one or more sitesOversee deep excavation shoring dewatering and pipe laying including trenchless works where requiredManage permits NOCs and inspections with DEWA RTA DM or ADMLead HSE on site including permits to work confined space and trench safetyTrack progress costs and variations and keep site records to support claimsReport progress risks and decisions needed to the Project Manager
