Job summary

GRS Link is recruiting for an established UAE contractor specialising in underground utilities and civil infrastructure. The Site Engineer will run day-to-day site works on sewer, stormwater, water and TSE network projects in Dubai and Al Ain, reporting to the Construction Manager.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, has 5+ years of experience including 3+ years on underground utilities projects in the UAE, and demonstrates hands-on deep excavation and shoring

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering is required.
5+ years' experience, with 3+ years on underground utilities projects in the UAE.
Hands-on trenching, excavation and shoring experience.
Knowledge of DEWA, RTA, DM or ADM inspection requirements.
UAE driving licence preferred.
Currently based in the UAE.

Responsibilities

Run day-to-day site works on sewer, stormwater, water and TSE network projects, reporting to the Construction Manager.
Coordinate site teams, subcontractors, materials and equipment.
Prepare and close inspection requests, material inspections and site records.
Follow HSE requirements including permits to work, confined space and trench safety.
Coordinate authority inspections and utility detection before works start.
