Job summary

Penspen International Limited is seeking an experienced project professional to lead and supervise multiple projects in Abu Dhabi. The role focuses on ensuring contractor performance, implementing company policies on safety, quality, and environment, and coordinating cost estimates and schedules for management endorsement.

The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s degree in engineering, has 20 years of experience with at least 12 years in a similar role, is fluent in Arabic and English, and

Qualifications

• Fluency in Arabic & English (verbal & written).
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field is required.
• UAE driving license holder and Abu Dhabi resident preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise multiple projects in different areas and locations.
• Direct, supervise and control quality and progress of work performed by construction contractors.
• Ensure company policies on technical, safety, quality and environment are implemented.
• Review and recommend development of cost estimates and schedules for management approval.
• Monitor implementation of budget, schedule and quality at stages of project execution to ensure adherence to plan.
• Conduct regular weekly and monthly meetings with Contractors and PMCs to resolve bottlenecks and ensure schedule adherence.

Job description

• Manage and supervise Multiple Projects in different areas and locations.
• Manage, direct, supervise and control the quality and progress of work performed by Construction Contractors.
• Ensure Company policies are correctly addressed and implemented for technical, safety, quality and environment aspects.
• Review and recommend the development of cost estimates and schedules for Management endorsement/approval.
• Monitors the implementation of the total budget, schedule and quality at various stages of the project execution to ensure adherence to the overall approved plan.
• Conduct regular weekly and monthly meetings with Contractors and Project Management Consultants to ensure that the work plan is achieved in accordance with the approved schedule and agreement and any bottlenecks to be resolved.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or relevant field (minimum 4 years program)
• 20 years of experience.
• 12 years’ experience in a similar role
• Fluency in Arabic & English (Verbal & Written)
• Holds a valid UAE driving License
• Resident of Abu Dhabi
