Job summary

Innovo Group is seeking a Project Engineer – HVAC in Dubai to plan, coordinate, and execute HVAC works on construction projects. You will review drawings, prepare method statements, and ensure activities align with milestones and budgets.

The role requires 5–8 years in HVAC on MEPM projects, 2–3 years in project engineering, and solid knowledge of UAE codes and authority requirements. You’ll support the Project Manager and coordinate with multiple teams on site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
• 5–8 years of HVAC experience in construction/MEP projects.
• Minimum 2–3 years in a project engineering role.
• Prior UAE project experience is required.
• Knowledge of UAE authority requirements (DM, DEWA, Estidama, Trakhees, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and execute HVAC works from initiation to handover.
• Review HVAC drawings, specifications, BOQs, and contracts.
• Prepare method statements, shop drawings coordination, and work programs.
• Monitor progress and ensure HVAC activities meet project milestones.
• Assist Project Manager in overall project control and reporting.
• Ensure HVAC systems comply with project specifications and UAE codes.
• Provide technical support to site engineers, supervisors, and subcontractors.
• Resolve technical issues, design discrepancies, and site coordination matters.
• Coordinate HVAC works with Plumbing, Firefighting, Electrical, and Civil teams.
• Liaise with consultants, clients, and authorities for approvals and inspections.
• Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors for material procurement and delivery.
• Attend coordination meetings and prepare technical reports.
• Ensure QA/QC standards in HVAC works; review submittals; oversee testing, balancing, commissioning and handover.
• Support snag clearance and final handover documentation.
• Maintain accurate project records, reports, and as-built drawings.
• Assist procurement in technical evaluation of HVAC materials.
• Promote safe working practices and attend safety meetings

Role Purpose

The role supports the Project Manager in ensuring timely and cost-effective completion of HVAC systems.

Key Accountabilities

Project Planning & Execution

• Ensure monthly Labour budgets are within agreed values
• Ensure monthly progress targets are achieved
• Target zero wastage for materials
• Assist in cost monitoring, variation orders, and claims preparation
• Maintain accurate project records, reports, and as-built drawings
• Support procurement team in technical evaluation of HVAC materials

Health, Safety & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with site HSE policies and safety regulations
• Promote safe working practices and attend safety meetings
